Will the handle get too hot to lift out of boiling water?
The silicone handle stays cool enough to grip safely with bare hands after boiling, but we still recommend using oven mitts or tongs for extra caution, especially around kids.
Does it fit small, medium, AND large eggs?
Yes, the flexible silicone "wings" gently hug eggs from small to large (and even jumbo in most cases). Brown or white, store-bought or farm-fresh, they all waddle in just fine.
Can I use it in an Instant Pot, air fryer, or microwave?
Instant Pot: yes (place on the trivet, add 1 cup of water). Air fryer: yes, up to 400°F. Microwave: no, please avoid, as eggs in shell can explode regardless of the holder.
What size pot do I need? Will it fit mine?
The holder is roughly 6 inches wide. Any pot 7 inches or larger in diameter works perfectly. A standard 2-quart saucepan is the sweet spot.
How do I clean it if an egg cracks or leaks inside?
Fully dishwasher-safe (top rack recommended). For hand-washing, warm soapy water and a soft sponge get into every nook. The non-stick silicone means dried egg wipes right off, no scrubbing
